The goal of the Ph.D. programs will be interested in the diversity of functional traits to understand the dynamics of Arctic zooplankton by analyzing functional traits for existing data on Arctic zooplankton groups collected within the Nansen Legacy and ECO TIP programs. Progressing a model to obtain knowledge on how copepod traits and the environment.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All global candidates are allowed for this UiT The Arctic University of Norway scholarship.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Ph.D. degree programs in Arctic Zooplankton Diversity connected to Functional Traits provided by the university
  • Eligibility Standard: To be allowed, the applicants should meet all the following standards:
  • A bachelor’s degree of 180 ECTS, a master’s degree of 120 ECTS, or an integrated master’s degree of 300 ECTS.
  • A master’s thesis with an extent corresponding to at least 30 ECTS for a master’s degree of 120 ECTS.
  • A master’s thesis with an extent corresponding to at least 20 ECTS for an integrated master’s degree of 300 ECTS.
